Widget wadget websites and whachamacallits

I apologize, I have not been back here much lately… I have been adjusting to my new job and have been trying to make new systems for my business and prioritize it all…oh yeah and have a life too.

Where are you listed

Cheryl was showing how to use a new widget, and Chris was complaining about being dugg by a old widget. I believe we have been taken over by widgetopolis or driven to websitemania… When will it stop? We are doing this in the name of Web 2.0 and google rank. Jeff is looking to help us understand everything by video tutorials…thank God you can access his stuff at all times of the day.

I decided to centralize my online experience in one folder on my Favorites. See illustration. Man…I know there is a whole lot more going on out there just forgot were I have been. Everywhere on the web that I list my business or blogs.

I put it all in one folder under favorites. I kept forgetting where I place listing or an ad. I know some of my pages automatically list my information on affiliate sites…I’m glad I don’t have to maintain them too.

So, where are you on the big WWW? Have you even thought about it? I googled my name and websites to see where they were listed. I also used other search engines like dogpile, lycos, etc to help out…some places don’t get index you the same way.

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy all of these little nuggets that are out there…because it is one more way someone can find me and my business. All of these little sites tied together also create a great SEO experience too.

They can be fun and most are very social. That’s what is all about right? Turning a cyber experience into a real face to face experience. I wouldn’t have met all of you if it wasn’t for this little nugget called Active Rain…shoot, that’s not on my list…

Keep in mind these are not just where I surf, this is where I have a presence or created an account.

Forgot PollDaddy.com… darn and bravenet…man…see what I mean?
